The Rocking Yak is helping to provide Tibetan families who live in remote villages on the Tibetan Plateau with sustainable employment and a greater family income while instilling self-worth and pride in their unique culture.
They are able to use their traditional skills of rearing yaks and spinning by using 100% Tibetan Yak Down fibre which they hand-spin into yarn with drop spindles and beautifully hand-knit into garments made by these rural Tibetan women. Warm, breathable, luxuriously soft and hypoallergenic.
